How To Order
This web site has been set up to be as easy as humanly possible to use, some people may still find it hard to order what they want. Here is a short description on how to pay for your item using the different payment methods we accept.
• Credit & Debit Card's
This is the most used and popular method because it is the easiest, quickest and most convenient way to pay. Each product has its own "add to basket" button and with a simple click will add your item to the shopping basket, when view cart is pressed at the top of the screen you will be taken to a personal information page. Here you will be able to see your order and any postage to be added. When you have finished adding items to the basket you can enter your personal details and click "place order". You will then be redirected to WorldPay's popular secure server where you will be able to enter your credit card details with top security for peace of mind. Your item will then be packaged and dispatched within 24 hours.
• PayPal Electronic Payment
Very similar to Worldpay payments but Paypal is preferred by some customers for is worldwide popularity. Payments can either be paid via your credit/debit card without the need to sign up or if you are signed up to Paypal you can pay with funds already in your paypal account. To pay via Paypal, Please send an email to us with your order and address and we will reply within 24 hours with an invoice and all the information you need to make the payment with Paypal. Once a Paypal payment is received it will be packaged and dispatched within 24 hours.
• Electronic Bank Transfer
Quick and easy option to pay, simply visit or ring you bank and request funds from you bank account to be transferred to our account directly, some banks may charge a small fee for this service. This option can be selected through the shopping cart after adding the items you require. Bank details are given upon checkout. We recommend sending your order to us separately by email to ensure it is received correctly. If you are having trouble using the shopping cart, please contact us via email and we shall respond as soon as possible with help.
• UK Personal Cheque
Common method of payment as 90% of people have a cheque book. This method can be selected from the shopping basket after you have added the items you require. If you do not use the shopping basket for any reason we first of all ask that you make sure your item is in stock by emailing us, otherwise it can take up to 31 days for an item to be restocked. Secondly we request that you send the cheque payable to Jewellers Equipment, with all relevant payments such as P&P and insurance if needed. Please note that if cheques are not payable to Jewellers Equipment they will be returned to sender. We also ask that with payments you send a cover letter with your address, Item(s) you are purchasing and any other relevant information. This will help us process your order faster. (Please view the contact us page for address to send payments to) Please allow up to five days for cheque Payments to clear from the day they are received. Orders are dispatched upon cleared funds.
• UK Postal Orders
Postal orders can be purchased at any Post Office for a small fee. Works just like a cheque without the need to have a bank account. We ask that postal orders are made out to Jewellers Equipment, any payment received with the incorrect details or amounts will be returned to sender. (Please view the contact us page for address to send P.O's to) Orders will be packaged and dispatched the same day as receiving postal order payments. We also ask that with the postal orders you send a cover letter with your address, Item(s) you are purchasing and any other relevant information.
